Runway to Paveway

Runway to Paveway

The autumn season is upon us. You might be starting to think about transitioning your wardrobe for the new season fashions… but what about your garden? Below we’ve collected some of the most popular runway trends for A/W 2019 and collated ways in which you can refresh your outdoor space.

Florals

Florals, though traditionally a summer trend, were seen across the catwalk such as the above from Alexander McQueen. Perhaps the easiest trend for the garden you might think, but it’s important to remember that not all flowers can withstand the harsh weather of the autumn. Dahlias and Cornflowers will continue to flower through the autumn bringing colour to your garden. Alternatively, if you do not have a green thumb, invest in some potted plants from your local garden centre or even some decorative faux plants to use as centre pieces.

Minimal Neutrals

Fendi showcased minimal neutrals in their A/W show. Detailing browns, creams, and whites in minimalistic pieces of sharp, timeless tailoring. To translate this to your outdoor space, use furniture. Classic neutrals never go out of style like our Tosca Natural collection. Pair your sofa set with minimalist details like candles, and neutral toned blankets for a cosy autumn hideaway.

Black and Gold

If minimalism isn’t for you, Dolce and Gabbana focused on regal colour combinations of black and gold. Pair our Verona Dining set with gold servewear and planters from H&M to create this same look. This combination will take you straight through to christmas with it’s festive feel whilst maintaining chic and on trend design. Imagine a gold and black dining setting, illuminated by candlelight in the low autumn light.
