At Alexander Francis we are passionate about enhancing outdoor living spaces and we thought it would be nice for our customers to get to know a bit more about our colleague’s gardens. First up we have Hajni who is our super efficient Finance Manager who describes her outdoor area as a paved courtyard garden that she has tried to make into a relaxing enjoyable space that requires little maintenance.
She has cleverly incorporated lots of hanging baskets and foliage to add different textures and colours to draw the attention away from the paving slabs that dominate the space. Her favourite part of her garden is “My award winning flowers… looking at them whilst relaxing in my Veneto chairs”. Hajni has recently won the Knightstone’s Most Improved Garden Award 2015.
Having a small courtyard garden doesn’t stop her coming up with some unusual ideas to make the area more interesting like upcycling her old bath tub and making it a focal point of her garden. She says “the next purchase to brighten up my garden even more would be an outdoor rug to complete the look”. Outdoor rugs are currently a popular outdoor accessory for patios and decking.
Hajni’s gardening skills don’t stop there. When she isn’t busy tending to her own shrubs and hanging baskets in her UK home, she is busy helping with her parent’s garden in her native country Hungary. We especially love the garage in her family home shown here adorned with foliage.
