When choosing garden furniture, your main concerns are always design, comfort, and quality. However, something you may not consider is whether the fabric is fire retardant.

In the UK, all upholstered furniture must have a fire-safety label on it that states that it complies with fire-safety regulations. Your garden furniture is included within this if it is upholstered or contains padded cushions, and especially if it can be used indoors and outdoors.

If you intend on using your furniture in a commercial property such as a hotel, spa or Airbnb then fabrics are identified as a potential fire hazard and as such, they are required to be certified as flame retardant.

All our Furniture uses fire retardant fabric, and as such is suitable for commercial use.
